Registration & Documents

Present your reservation confirmation and vehicle documents at our counter. Our team verifies your details and directs you to the inspection lane.​

Vehicle Enters the Lane

A trained Vehicle Examiner takes over, driving your vehicle into our inspection lane to begin the assessment.​

10-Point Inspection

Key components are checked against legal and safety standards using our specialised inspection equipment.​

Get Your Report

Receive your inspection report on the same day, confirming your inspection status or any required rectifications.​

What We Inspect

Identification

Confirm the originality of the vehicle by identifying the registration, chassis and engine numbers.

Above-carriage

Examine the condition of the vehicle’s above-carriage.

Tinted Glass

Measure the visible light transmittance rating of windscreens and windows.​

Emission

Measure the smoke or gases emitted from the engine to ensure they do not exceed the legal limits.​

Side Slip

Test the alignment of the vehicle’s front wheels.

Suspension

Test the performance of the vehicle’s suspension system.

Brake

Check brake performance, including brake efficiency and brake imbalance.

Undercarriage

Examine the condition of the vehicle’s undercarriage.

Speedometer

Verify the reading accuracy against actual road speed.​

Headlight Alignment

Check the intensity and beam alignment for night visibility.​

Effective 17 March 2025, body lettering, speed signs, first aid kits, registration numbers and passenger seat condition (for public service vehicles) have been removed from the list of requirements for mandatory inspections at PUSPAKOM.
